GPS Teambuilding event: 100 coins

What is it?

The 100 coins game is a GPS teambuilding game designed for groups with a limited timetable but who still want to take part in a challenging and competitive activity that relies on successful teamwork, organisation and working under pressure.

Purpose of the game

The object of the game is to collect 100 coins and in order to do this teams need to locate the coins seen on the screen of their on their I-Pad. Only when your GPS verifies that you are in exactly the right location will your team be able to activate the coin and answer the question or complete the challenge that appears on the screen. Each point shows the teams the amount of coins that are won when the question is answered correctly. Some questions have timers- so be quick to answer! Some question also have more than one correct answer.

Win

The winner is the team which is closest to obtaining 100 coins before the time expires. If two or more teams have the same amount of coins, the one who has more answers, wins. Therefore, it is a good idea to answer as many questions as possible. This is also a mathematical puzzle as you will need to calculate which questions to answer (and which ones to avoid) in order to reach 100 coins.
